Expanded Rogersville school renamed Étoile de l’Acadie

École secondaire Assomption in Rogersville, which is undergoing a $9.9 million renovation project, has been renamed Étoile de l’Acadie.

The work is converting the building to a K-12 school and accommodate students from l’École W.-F.-Boisvert.

Construction on the former École secondaire Assomption began in June 2016 and are expected to be finished next year.

Existing classrooms and the gym were renovated, while new classrooms, music rooms, a cafeteria, a stage, and workshops were added.

Government says minor upgrades are also planned for the soccer field and playground.
