Federal government announces funding for upgrades in Minto
A village-owned building in Minto is getting federal funding for some much-needed repairs.
The aging building, which houses the public library and the New Brunswick Internment Camp Museum, has received $91,950 from ACOA.
Officials say the money will be used to repair and repaint exterior bricks, repair cracks in the foundation, fix windows, and repair water-damaged floors in the library and museum.
The project is being partly funded through the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program.
