Fire guts Moncton home, displaces 4 people

Four people are temporarily homeless after fire gutted a two-storey home in Moncton.

The Canadian Red Cross says the blaze broke out on Peter Street around 11 p.m. Sunday.

The organization arranged emergency lodging, food, clothing purchases and other support for the four people, including two students of the nearby Université de Moncton.

No injuries have been reported, and the cause has not been released.
