Forest fires trigger air quality warnings in N.B.
Forest fires in Quebec have triggered air quality warnings in New Brunswick.
Environment Canada says smoke plumes moving over the northern section of the province have deteriorated air quality, and the smoke will gradually move southward today.
The weather agency says air quality conditions are expected to improve behind the cold front beginning this afternoon in northern New Brunswick and tonight for southern areas.
The warning was issued by Environment Canada, the New Brunswick Department of Environment and Local Governments, and the New Brunswick Department of Health.
