Fredericton Courthouse operations return to Queen Street on Monday

The Department of Justice says all operations of the Fredericton courthouse will return to their usual location on Queen Street beginning on Monday.

The operations of the court have been temporarily relocated to the Hugh John Flemming Forestry Centre since Tuesday April 23 due to severe flooding along the Saint John River.

In a press release, the province says this included Court of Queen's Bench matters (family or trial division) and Provincial Court matters, as well as the Registrar's Office and Clerk's Office.

The Burton Courthouse has continued with normal operations and was not affected.
