Fredericton residents satisfied with performance of city council: survey

A new poll suggests most Fredericton residents are satisfied with the performance of Fredericton city council.

The latest Corporate Research Associates quarterly survey results, released this week, say 71 per cent of respondents are satisfied with the performance of Mayor Mike O'Brien and council.

That's compared with 70 per cent of those surveyed back in May.

CRA says the same survey found that consumer confidence rose to 109.4 — its highest level since tracking began four years ago.

Consumer confidence stood at 105.1 in May in 102.6 in February.

The results are part of the CRA Urban Report, an independent telephone survey of 291 Fredericton adults, with results accurate to within ±5.7 percentage points, 95 out of 100 times.
