Fredericton Toy Ride set for this weekend

The Fredericton Motorcycle Club's annual Toy Ride is on this weekend.

The fundraiser for the Child Life Unit of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital goes at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Fellow motorists are advised to keep an eye on them as they'll be without a police escort and there could be about 100 motorcycles taking part in the ride.

They'll start at the Brookside Mall parking lot, head to Stanley for a lunch stop at the Stanley School and then return to Fredericton on Route 8.

The bikers will then travel to the hospital and present their donations of toys to the unit for pediatric patients.

This is the 33rd year for the Toy Ride and the group expects to donate over 100 toys to the hospital.
