Friends, family of hit and run victim await justice
A close friend of a 22-year-old Indigenous man killed in a hit-and-run in New Brunswick more than 50 days ago says the wait for justice is almost too hard to handle.
The RCMP continues to investigate the death of Brady Francis, who was struck and killed on February 24th in St. Charles.
Robbie Ward says he understands this is a difficult case for police, but says Francis's community of Elsipogtog First Nation can't begin to heal until there is closure.
Ward is calling on the driver involved to come forward -- saying that would not only help Francis's family and friends, but the confession would likely also help the person behind the wheel.
