Gas prices up in NB

No surprise at the pumps....

Just as expected the price of gas in New Brunswick has gone up a few cents this week.

The Energy and Utilities Board made the adjustment last night and set the new price at $1.12.4 cents per litre,  up two and a half cents from a week ago.
Diesel went up by two cents to a dollar 11.
Retailers will sell for a few cents less.

Analysts had been expecting a bigger increase with the shutdown of refineries along the Texas Gulf Coast, but petroleum prices in New York weren't enough to trigger the interrupter clause with the higher prices.  Hurricane Harvey could impact prices for the next few weeks.
