Gasoline, diesel prices inch upward

Filling up your vehicle's gas tank is going to cost you a bit more on Thursday.

The price for regular self-serve gasoline is up 0.7 cents per litre following the Energy and Utilities Board's weekly price setting.

The new maximum price is $1.085 per litre.

Gasoline prices were selling for around $1.055 around the same time in 2016.

Diesel is also up by 0.6 cents to a new maximum of $1.20 per litre, while furnace oil climbed 0.7 cents to $1.046 per litre.

Prices are reset every Wednesday night in New Brunswick.
