Giant Tiger helps to fill library at Fredericton school
A Canadian discount retailer has teamed up with a Fredericton school to help fill its library with more books.
Giant Tiger's location on Union Street is donating 50 cents from all books sales between Jan. 30 to Feb. 14 to École Les Éclaireurs.
Wayne Gallant, manager of Giant Tiger Fredericton, said they're happy they can support the community in such a meaningful way.
"Being able to help the school with their literacy programming is fostering a new generation of neighbours," said Gallant in a news release.
If you don't want to buy a book, you can also purchase $2 icons at the checkout.
