Government details Hampton road work for 2018-19

The provincial government has detailed the more than $3 million in paving and chipseal projects in the Hampton area this year.

The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure will pave a 4.6 kilometre section of Route 111, from the Base Road to the Old Gardner Creek Road.

Government says chipseal will be applied to sections of Route 820, Bonney Road, Court Road, Damascas Road, Hall Road, Hayward Road, and Robertson Road.

Under the Municipal Designated Highway Program, the department will partner with the Town of Hampton to pave 700 metres of Main Street.
