Heavy rain expected to hit Southern NB thanks to tropical storm

Environment Canada has issued a special alert about rainfall that will affect the region this week.

Rain associated with the remnants of tropical depression Gordon will move into New Brunswick by tomorrow morning.

The rain may be heavy at times and could persist into Wednesday, with 30 to 50 millimetres possible in some parts.

Some of the areas that could feel the impact include Woodstock, Fredericton region,  Saint John and Moncton.
