Herbicide spraying to begin at Base Gagetown

Herbicide spraying is set to begin its next phase at the army base in Gagetown, New Brunswick.

Aerial and ground herbicide application will occur between July 15th and August 31st on days when weather conditions are suitable.

A news release says the spraying will occur on the Range and Training Area of the sprawling base.
The vegetation management program involves controlled burning, manual and mechanical cutting, herbicide application and re-vegetation.
