Hike in NB fuel prices

The price at the pumps is up in New Brunswick this morning.

The experts were expecting fuel prices to increase and it'll cost drivers more for a fill-up after the Energy and Utilities Board reset prices overnight.

The price of gas is up just slightly,  with the new maximum for regular self-serve 1/10th of a cent higher at $1.04.8  and diesel is up even more, increasing 5.2 cents per litre at $1.27.9.

Most stations will sell fuel for a few cents less than the maximum prices.
