Increase at pumps in New Brunswick

New Brunswick drivers are paying a little more to fuel up this morning.

The experts were expecting a hike at the pumps this week and they got it right.

After the Energy and Utilities Board reset prices at midnight, the price of gas is up slightly, just over half a cent to $1.32.6, while diesel made a bigger jump at 3.1 cents to a new maximum of $1.45 per litre.

Many stations will sell fuel for a few cents less than the maximum prices.
