Kings Landing to host 35th annual sugar bush event

Kings Landing will hold its 35th annual sugar bush event this month.

Kings Landing CEO Kevin Cormier says the sugar bush experience represents the start of spring for those who visit the historical settlement, which is located 20 minutes west of Fredericton.

A news release from the organization says the event is also a major fundraiser for York-Sunbury Search and Rescue.

Some of the activities that are planned include a 19th-century sugaring demonstration with maple candy on the snow, snowshoeing, children's activities, and sleigh rides.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday and on March 17th and 18th.
