Man arrested after break-in at Northside Market

One person has been arrested after a break-in at the Northside Market in Fredericton.

Sgt. Ross Chandler of the Fredericton Police Force says officers responded to the business around 12:30 a.m. Monday.

"Upon arrival officers saw a person running from the food booths," said Chandler. "After a foot pursuit officers caught the male and arrested him for attempted break and enter and possession of break in tools."

Chandler said the man has been released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
