Man arrested following robbery at Saint John bank
Saint John police say a man has been arrested following the city's latest bank robbery.
Sgt. Charles Breen said Monday morning that a 57-year-old man was arrested on Friday evening.
Police were called to the Bayview Credit Union on Loch Lomond Road earlier in the day after a man threatened a teller with a weapon.
At the time, police said the suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was injured during the robbery.
