Marissa Shephard trial postponed for second day due to weather

The trial of a woman accused in the brutal killing of a young New Brunswick man has been postponed for a second day due to bad weather.

Testimony at the first-degree murder trial of Marissa Shephard in Moncton is now scheduled to begin Monday after jury selection was completed on Wednesday.

Shephard is charged in the death of 18-year-old Baylee Wylie, who was severely beaten while tied to a chair and stabbed up to 200 times before an apartment was set on fire in December 2015.
