Memorial service for 4 people killed in N.B. house fire

A memorial service is planned for Saturday to pay tribute to a family of four killed in a fire earlier this week in New Brunswick.

The province's fire marshal has confirmed that a mother and her three adult sons were killed by smoke inhalation after their home in St. George caught fire on Tuesday.

Area MLA Rick Doucet named the victims as Esther Boyd and her adult sons Billy, Robbie and Davey – who was an honorary member of the St. George fire department.

Officials say the blaze is not considered suspicious, but the exact cause remains undetermined.
