Mounties charge Campbellton man after stolen firearm recovered

A 29 year old man has been charged following the recovery of a stolen firearm in Campbellton.

Kenny Kevin Savoie of Campbellton was last Tuesday and is charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, unsafe storage of a firearm, and possession of stolen property.

He's been released on conditions and will return to court June 4th.

Police are still looking for the two other firearms that were stolen during a break and enter on Vanier Street in Campbellton back in April.

They're described as a brown Browning A-bolt 300 Winchester Mag with 4-12 scope, a .22 calibre black Ruger Mark 2 (MK II) pistol, and a stainless Savage model 116 Weather Warrior Calibre 3006.
