N.B. accepting applications for home energy assistance program
The New Brunswick government is accepting applications for the 2018 Home Energy Assistance Program until June 30.
Officials say the program helps low-income families cope with high energy bills during the winter months.
Households with a total income of up to and including $30,000 in 2016 will be eligible for a one-time payment of $100.
The province says it received 46,834 applications last year for a total benefit to families of about $4.68 million.
