N.B. prosecutors reviewing fatal hit-and-run case
Prosecutors in New Brunswick are reviewing the case of a 22-year-old man killed in a hit-and-run collision in February.
CTV Atlantic reports the file is now in the hands of Crown prosecutors to review for possible charges.
Police responded to the hit and run in Saint Charles around 9:30 p.m. on February 24th.
Police say Brady Francis was struck by the vehicle, which fled the scene, while standing on the side of the road, waiting for a drive home.
The following day a pickup truck was seized and later returned to the owner after police gathered the information required for their investigation.
RCMP confirmed to CTV Atlantic that one person was arrested in March, but they were released without charges.
Anyone with information about the truck or the incident is asked to contact the Richibucto RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
