N.B. set to participate in annual International Road check program

New Brunswick is set to participate in the annual International Roadcheck program this week.

Government says commercial vehicle enforcement officers with the Department of Justice and Public Safety's inspection and enforcement branch will be on the lookout for a variety of safety violations Tuesday through Thursday.

The province says enforcement activities will take place throughout the province, while special attention will be given to the Saint-Jacques inspection facility near Edmundston.

The International Roadcheck, now in its 31st year, is a 72-hour inspection event sponsored by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance.
