N.B. to host national summit for LGBTQ youth
New Brunswick has been selected to host a national three-day summit for LGBTQ youth.
OUTShine will take place in Fredericton in the spring of 2019, and will bring together students and teacher facilitators from across Canada.
The bi-annual summit is presented by Egale Canada Human Rights Trust, a national charity that promotes LGBTQ rights through research, education and community engagement.
Education Minister Brian Kenny says the summit is a chance to showcase the great work New Brunswick is doing in the area of inclusive education.
