NB cleans up with more snow on the way for many
It's cleanup time for many Maritimers as the nor'easter passed through the region, bringing up to 20 centimetres of snow to New Brunswick yesterday and forcing some businesses, stores and government services to close early.
The snow and wind created some dangerous drving conditions and thousands were off the grid for a time yesterday...there are over one-thousand NB Power cutomers still without electricity this morning, mostly in the Miramichi area.
Fredericton Transit pulled their buses off the streets and flights in and out of the region were cancelled. Everything appears to be running on time for the most part out of the capital this morning.
Plow and salt truck crews were kept busy and the roads around the city are in pretty good condition this morning.
Snow will fall again today and tomorrow, mixed with some rain.
Some areas of the province could be facing another 15-20cm of snowfall, including Doaktown, Stanley, Moncton, Miramichi, Bathurst.
