NB Ice Storm review
Public meetings will be held early next month as part of a post-action review report of January's ice storm in New Brunswick.
Judy Wagner, who is clerk of the Executive Council and head of the public service will lead the review and her report with recommendations is expected to be completed by July.
The province says the report will be supported by internal reviews done by the New Brunswick Emergency Measures Organization, N-B Power and officials from the Department of Health, among others.
The ice storm that hit central and eastern New Brunswick between January 24th and 26th caused widespread power outages due to the high winds and ice build-up on transmission and electricity lines.
