NB Liquor releases third-quarter results

It seems NB Liquor customers really enjoy their wine.

Third-quarter results released Tuesday show wine sales grew by 5.1 per cent, or $1.3 million.

On the flip side, beer sales dropped by $900,000 over last year – or two per cent.

Spirit sales increased by 3.2 per cent, up by $900,000 over last year, while the sales of other beverages – coolers and cider – jumped by $500,000, or 9.9 per cent.

President and CEO Brian Harriman said the Crown corporation's total sales for the quarter were $109.4 million, up by $7 million over the same period last year.
