NB residents asked to use caution along waterways
New Brunswick's Emergency Measures Organization says the risk of ice jams on the St. John River should be over, but they continue to monitor water levels.
Officials are asking residents in the Fredericton area to use caution along waterways with new data showing water levels have increased thanks to some precipitation over the long weekend.
Residents are also being reminded to obey road signs posted about potential washouts and to be on the lookout for wildlife in search of higher ground.
Officials say water levels in Jemseg will stay just above flood stage for the rest of the week.
