New booklet on grandparent rights released in New Brunswick
A new booklet on grandparent rights has been released by the Public Legal Education and Information Service of New Brunswick.
The booklet, titled A Grandparent’s Right to Spend Time with their Grandchildren, contains information about the options available to grandparents if they're not given the opportunity to spend time with their grandchildren.
The information identifies the resources available to grandparents when applying to court for access as well as a list of services and contacts for grandparents who are seeking further information or legal advice.
The project received funding from the Canadian Family Justice Fund and Justice Canada.
The booklet is available in both official languages.
