New office building proposed for downtown Fredericton

Commercial Properties has announced plans to develop a new office building on the corner of King and Regent streets in Fredericton.

General Manager Paul Moore says in a news release that the proposed 92,000 square foot, six-story building will take up only a portion of the available land, making additional development possible.

Saint John architects Murdoch and Boyd have been tapped to design the new building, and the project is still in the planning stages with no timeline determined for the start of construction.

Moore says they think the location has significant potential for retail and residential space, in addition to being a premium location for new offices.
