No suspects nearly one year after downtown Fredericton shooting

Crime Stoppers and the Fredericton Police Force are asking for your help as they continue to investigate a shooting nearly a year ago.

Police say a man was shot on Saunders Street in the city's downtown shortly after 4 a.m. on Aug. 24, 2016.

The victim was taken to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Crime Stoppers says the shooter is described as a man, about 25 years old, with a medium build and very short, black hair.
