Nominations Open for City's Arts Achievement Awards

The City of Fredericton is accepting nominations for its Arts Achievement Award, which will recognize outstanding achievement in, or contribution to, the arts and cultural landscape in the city.

In a press release, the city says the Arts Achievement Award celebrates cultural achievement and excellence by individuals, organizations and/or businesses in all areas of the arts, with a maximum of three awards presented each year.

 "We're looking forward to recognizing well deserving members of our local arts and culture sector and celebrating the vibrant arts and cultural landscape in the City of Fredericton"  said Kate Rogers, Chair of the City's Arts & Culture Advisory Committee. 

Nominations will be reviewed by a jury selected by members of the Arts Advisory Committee and the Award(s) will be presented at a ceremony in mid-June.

According to the press release, eligible applicants must currently, live, work, or be based in the Fredericton region, and be living at the time of selections.
