Nor'easter expected to create a mess across region

The Nor'easter is still brewing and heading our way!

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning with a significant amount of snow not only expected to affect the region tomorrow and into Friday, but a second system will move through the area again Friday into Saturday.

A low pressure system approaching New Brunswick from the southwest today and tomorrow could bring between 20 and 30 centimetres of snow to some parts of New Brunswick, and change to rain over the southern half of the province Thursday afternoon or evening.

On top of that storm, another system arrives late on Friday with snow speading into the province from the east, initially mixed with some rain. The snowfall may persist into the weekend, giving significant snowfall amounts especially over northeastern sections.

Poor visibility is expected in heavy snow and the storm will have a big impact on travel plans throughout the Mariitmes.
