OHS student arrested after threats
Police arrested a student after a hold and secure was issued at Oromocto High School yesterday.
RCMP spokesperson, Cpl. Julie Rogers-Marsh tells The Daily Gleaner that police received a call of threats at the school just after 9:00am and the school was in a hold and secure until about 1pm.
A spokesperson from Anglophone West School District confirmed it was a student from the school who was taken into police custody.
The school's crisis response team was also on scene.
Police say no injuries were reported and no charges have been laid yet, as they continue to investigate.
