One person killed, two injured in eastern N.B. crash

Police say a 25-year-old man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in eastern New Brunswick.

RCMP Const. Bruno Lim said the crash happened on Route 126 in Harcourt on Friday.

Lim said in a news release that the victim's vehicle went off the road and landed in the ditch.

He said the man, who was from Aldouane, died at the scene from his injuries.

Lim said two other people in the vehicle were taken to hospital for treatment.

He said police are still trying to piece together the cause of the crash.

Harcourt is located about halfway between Moncton and Miramichi.
