Premier Brian Gallant leading delegation to North America’s largest seafood show

Premier Brian Gallant and Aquaculture and Fisheries Minister Rick Doucet are leading a business delegation to North America’s largest seafood show.

Seafood Expo North America, which is also known as the Boston seafood show, begins Sunday and runs until Tuesday.

The province says about 20,000 people are expected to participate in the event, including buyers and suppliers of fresh, frozen, and packaged seafood products.

Some of the New Brunswick companies exhibiting at the expo include North Salmon of Blacks Harbour, Alliance Seafood of Dieppe, Seacore Seafood of Saint John, Shediac Lobster Shop, and Captain Dan’s of Richibucto.

Government says New Brunswick is Canada’s second-largest exporter of fish and seafood.
