Premier Gallant in Boston to discuss trade
New Brunswick Premier Brian Gallant is in Boston, where he's been discussing trade, job creation and other issues with Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker.
Officials say the pair spoke about softwood lumber, the continuing North American Free Trade Agreement negotiations and the shared challenges presented by climate change.
Gallant also plans to attend the 2018 Seafood Expo North America, more commonly known as the Boston Seafood Show.
He will also be taking part in a discussion on trade in a changing world presented by the New England-Canada Business Council in partnership with the Consulate General of Canada.
