Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tours N.B. as residents begin to clean up after the flood

New Brunswick residents have begun the long, messy business of cleaning up sodden homes and cottages.

That includes the need to retrieve one runaway cottage left bobbing in lake waters after floating seven kilometres away from its perch.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Premier Brian Gallant visited an "incident command post" and then toured Saint John River communities affected by flooding.

The prime minister praised the efforts of volunteers, and said it was clear from the tour that the damage was extensive.
