Province announces new chief medical examiner of health
The province has announced its new chief medical examiner of health.
Government says Dr. Jennifer Russell assumed her official duties on Wednesday.
Russell has worked in several leadership roles at public health over the past three years, including acting chief medical officer of health, deputy chief medical officer of health, and acting regional medical officer of health.
She previously worked in addictions and mental health services in Fredericton for six years, and also served as a medical officer in the Canadian Armed Forces for ten years.
