Province opening more community offices to help with flood recovery

The provincial government says it's adding more community offices to help New Brunswickers recover from the spring flood.

Justice and Public Safety Minister Denis Landry says some communities need a longer-term solution to ensure people get the help they need.

Community offices will open at the Maugerville Community Centre and at the Rothesay Town Hall on Monday.

Their hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. until further notice.

A community liaison officer will be available to help with any issues or questions related to flood recovery, including financial assistance.
