Province say repairs to Route 108 in New Denmark set to continue
Government says repairs to a trucking corridor between Grand Falls and Plaster Rock will continue this year as part of the provincial government's 2018-19 capital budget.
The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure will issue a tender this spring for the second phase of the major reconstruction project on Route 108 in New Denmark.
The province says the work will continue on a 2.6 kilometre section adjacent to last year's work, which included the grading and paving of a 1.1 kilometre section of the road.
The total project cost is estimated at $7 million.
