Rain and ice pellets could hit region later this week

We've just moved out of the extreme cold and while temperatures are warming up to more seasonal conditions...there is more weather to be concerned about as we head into the weekend.

Meteorologists at Environment and Climate Change Canada are monitoring a system that has the potential to give significant rainfall amounts to southern portions of New Brunswick on Friday. It's still too early to predict rainfall amounts, so we're being told to monitor upcoming forecasts as details of this system become clearer later in the week.

This weather system is expected to be followed by a second system that will likely bring snow and ice pellets to much of the province on Saturday.
