N.B. man wanted on warrant turns himself in

A New Brunswick man wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in court has turned himself in to authorities.

Police say Brandon Patrick Donelan failed to appear in court in February for sentencing after pleading guilty to charges of sexual assault and sexual interference.

RCMP Cpl. Peter Lach tells our newsroom the 22-year-old man from Hardwood Ridge turned himself in at Burton provincial court on Monday.

Lach says Donelan has been remanded into custody until his sentencing, which is scheduled for Oct. 2.
