RCMP investigating theft of safe, musical instruments from Saint-Léonard home

RCMP are investigating after musical instruments and a safe were stolen from a Saint-Léonard home. 

Police received a call that a break, enter, and theft had taken place at a home on Route 144 shortly before 6:30 p.m. on July 23rd. 

Mounties says the incident is believed to have occurred sometime between 9:30 p.m. on July 22nd and 6:20 p.m. the next day. 

Several instruments were stolen, including a trumpet, a violin, and a ukulele, as well as a karaoke machine, a gramophone, and a video camera. 

A safe containing a collection of quarters from different years representing different provinces, a collection of RCMP quarters from 1976, and a collection of old Canadian currency bills ranging from $1 to $50 were also taken. 

Anyone with information about this theft is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
