Restrictions lifted at Base Gagetown Range and Training Area
Base Gagetown has reinstated recreational use of its Range and Training Area, even though it says the risk of wildland fires remains extreme.
All ATV, hunting, hiking and fishing activities were banned late last week due to the forest fire hazard across the province.
But officials at the base lifted that ban on Thursday.
They say safety and stewardship are the main consideration in all decisions related to recreational use of the training area.
