Survey says residents worried about debt in New Brunswick
A new poll suggests New Brunswickers are concerned about the province's debt.
Sixty-one per cent of participants in the Corporate Research Associates Poll say they're very concerned about the province's high debt, which is expected to hit over $14 billion by the end of 2017-18.
CRA Chair Don Mills says government debt across Atlantic Canada is a big issue.
Concern about the current debt seems to be lower in the north of the province and is highest among residents 55 years of age or older and among anglophone residents.
