TIANB, ATAC sign Memorandum of Understanding

The Tourism Industry Association of New Brunswick (TIANB) has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with The Aboriginal Tourism Association of Canada (ATAC).

A news release from TIANB says the agreement "establishes mutually beneficial activities in the areas of Indigenous tourism product development, capacity building, and training", with quarterly meetings.

Ronald Drisdelle, President and CEO of TIANB, says the two sides will develop programs and services aimed at increasing Indigenous involvement in tourism jobs and businesses throughout the province.
