Tri-City mayors visit Toronto for career fair to help recruit newcomers to New Brunswick

The Mayors of Fredericton, Moncton, and Saint John are in Toronto Saturday to help support recruitment efforts at the Toronto Newcomers Canada career fair.

A joint news release from the cities says Fredericton Mayor Mike O'Brien, Moncton Mayor Dawn Arnold, and Saint John Mayor Don Darling will join forces with representatives from the Opportunities NB population growth division, local economic development agencies, and several New Brunswick employers to promote the province and its three largest urban centres.

NB employers will have a pavilion at the career fair Saturday, which is Canada's leading recruitment event for foreign-born workers, and will be ready to hire in a variety of industries.
